Contact Information
About us: This website was created in response to requests of
several Swiss Clubs and Sections in Alberta, who were seeking help with creating websites.
Because it is often difficult to create and keep a website updated, and because a central
website means easier access to all information in one region, the idea of a central
Calendar of Swiss Events was conceived. All specific information is under full control of
each participating Club. Some Clubs may have all of their information on this website,
others list their upcoming events and link with their own websites.
The website is privately owned and operated by active members of Swiss Clubs. It is
free of cost to individual users and Swiss Clubs and is financed through advertising of
business sponsors and by donations.
Objectives:
Swisscanadian.info is committed to serve the Swiss community in Canada by:
(a) providing information about Swiss Events
to all users on the internet,
(b) providing free webspace for Swiss
organizations that does not require skills in webdesign and can be updated within minutes,
(c) facilitate business activity among the
Swiss community by specific advertising and listing of contact information for Swiss
businesses in Canada.
Postings: We
are not responsible for the content of club postings. Each organization is adding and
updating their own information. Please contact the addresses listed for the respective
club if you have any concerns or suggestions about posted material. We will only interfere
to ensure that postings follow legal standards and acceptable taste.
